In order to stimulate a better understanding of the cultural value of the philharmonic orchestra and classical music, the DAR Foundation provides financial support to the Friends of Philharmonic Orchestra NGO.
The goal of the Friends of Philharmonic Orchestra NGO is to create a new opportunity, a new reality, a new environment for the continuous improvement of the philharmonic orchestra, as well as the popularization of the talent of the Armenian people, and the discovery of new talents.
Sharing the values and ideas of the Friends of Philharmonic Orchestra initiative, since 2019, the DAR Foundation has been providing financial support for the implementation of the orchestra’s programs.
On December 23, 2019, on the eve of the New Year, the world famous pianist Khatia Buniatishvili arrived in Armenia. An unprecedented concert with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia took place in the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. Inspired by this wonderful event, the DAR Foundation supported the Friends of Philharmonic Orchestra NGO.
