On October 10-16 2015, as part of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Midwest Girls Choir from the city of Herning, in Denmark’s Jutland region, visited Armenia. The events were in memory of the Danish philanthropists Maria Jacobsen and Karen Jeppe, who saved thousands of Armenian children. The Midwest Girls Choir performed at charity concerts in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Dilijan, Berd and in the village of Tsaghkunk.
The DAR Foundation contributed to the holding of this event by providing financial support to the Little Singers of Armenia Association.
