For many years, the charitable foundation for supporting the cultural development of children, Culture of Childhood, has been holding a mobile children’s book festival called The Book under the Pillow – a book festival for the whole family. The purpose of the festival is to support and develop a culture of family reading, to create a special intellectual and creative environment necessary for the full development of the reading and cognitive activity of children and adolescents.
In 2016, writer Narine Abgaryan came to visit the festival in Tambov. The DAR Foundation became one of the main sponsors of the festival.
